A PORTABLE hand pump from Shoring Products has been designed for use with hydraulic equipment where multiples of hydraulic cylinders need expanding.
Made of steel the pump is said to have a low centre of gravity, and is mounted on wheels. A grab handle at each end enables the unit to be lifted and also act as a storage area for the 4.0m (13.12ft) delivery hose.
The major components are said to be protected against accidental damage by being mounted internally in the 26.0litre (5.72ga1) reservoir, and a glycerine-filled gauge for accurate reading and protection against shock is flush-mounted in the tank top.
The machine has an output of 49.0cc (3cuin) per cycle achieved from the double-action pump unit with the pressure being limited by an internal adjustable relief valve. Pressure capabilities up to 207.0 bar for most types of fluid can be handled.
Internal protection of the pump and hydraulic cylinders against the ingress of dirt is by a two-stage filter system, one at the filler port and secondly at ti pick-up point in the reservoir.
The unit weighs 19.0kg (41.91b) and the dimensions an length 770mm (30in), width 375mm (14.8in), depth 490mm (19.3in).
