• Renault, Foden and Volvo have joined Iveco Ford in appointing new managing directors in the UK.
Yves Garin moves from Renault's European sales department to replace Bernard Momin as Renault VI's managing director from 2 February. Momin is returning to France.
Hull Renault dealer Richard Thomson says: "During his seven years in charge Momin transformed Renault in the UK from a loss-making manufacturer to a highly focused sales operation. But we hope Garin can take our market share to 10%." Volvo managing director Stephen Johnson is making way for Tommy Svensson, who headed up the company's parts operation. Johnson moves to Belgium. And at Iveco Ford Roger Phillips replaces Alan Fox as managing director: Fox continues as chairman.
