Operators of goods vehicles not exceechng 30cwt unladen were warned this week that they may need to contact their motor insurers immediately because of the carriers' licensing .changes introduced under the Transport Act 1968.
The Motor Conference, representing motor insurers, makes the point that carrying for hire or reward may not be satisfactorily covered in existing policies, and policies may have been drawn up with specific reference to A, B or C licences.
