IA member of the family which .uns Britain's largest animal ransport firm has admitted harges of forgery and pervertng the course ofjustice.
The charges against Winchximbe, Glos-based Martin 3ilder involve defrauding the 3SE cattle compensation icheme. Allegedly he obtained core than £20,000 from the dAFF Agricultural Intervention 3oard.
At an earlier hearing Gilder lad denied a total of 11 charges: ;ix of forgery three of false Lccounting and two of pervertng the course of justice. But last week he changed his plea to ;Ay on four of the forgery l'ounts and one of perverting :he course of justice. The .emaining charges were then kopped by the prosecution.
Judge Charles Wade -emended Gilder on bail.
