• EFIF continues to perform strongly despite uncertainty over its future: after last month's strong sales figures (and a rise in sales of over 30% for the year to date) it has sold another batch of trucks to a new customer.
Cold Move is a controlled-temperature distribution specialist with a fleet of 75 tractors and depots at Dswestry and Haydock; for the first time, it has bought ERF tractors— seven ECX 6x2 high-roof models.
The trucks were supplied by Aquila Truck Centres on a three-year contract hire agreement through ERF Financial Services. Cold Move's chairman Nigel Woodward praised the build quality of the composite-cabbed ERFs, but the deciding factor in buying the ECX was an in-service trial against competitor vehicles—the ERF delivered excellent fuel economy
