Palletways new 60,000ft2 hub in Morley, Leeds last week. The hub will cut annual fuel costs by £650,000 by reducing members’ mileage by 800,000 miles. Palletised freight will run between Morley and Palletway’s fellow sites in Lichfield, West Midlands, and Livingston, Scotland. The hub will be managed by George Walker Transport, the Palletways member responsible for postcodes in Leeds and surrounding areas. MD Martyn Young said the site would give an “extra punch” to its services.
