Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• It was very good of The Hawk to wish me a happy retirement in such kind terms, and he was quite right about the typewriter: it was a very mature (but not quite Boer War) Underwood with a fast action, on which were produced more words for CM between 1961 and 1966 than I care to contemplate now. Presumably someone in Business Press is still using it!

However, I must politely but firmly disclaim his description of my role in the NFC buy-out; for the record could we just say "one member of a large and enthusiastic team"?
