Ledstone Luck, Leeds has added a new high-capacity blower/suction tanker to its hire fleet of municipal tankers.
The Kaiser Hurricane, which is manufactured under licence by AMIrs associate company ValeIly Engineering, uses the powerful Kaiser liquid ring vacuum pump for all heavy-duty work.
This has a 6,300m3/h flow rate which gives it outstanding power for conveying heavy materials or carrying out deep suction work. Instead of filter bags, Kaiser systems use twin cyclones that cope with wet or dry materials (such as cement dust) and ejects it automatically into the main slurry compartment.
A hydraulic rear door with safety locks and tip discharge are standard on the Hurricane but options include a stainless steel barrel, locking hose trays and hydraulic swing-down for the suction hoses.
Radio remote controls and a suction boom that luffs, slews and extends hydraulically are also available.
