operating out of Ipswich. Hull and Teespori, due to a "very challenging and competitive marketplace".
The move affects 30 drivers live in Ipswich, 12 in Hull and 13 at Teesport and involves the return of 27 tractor units to its leasing company.
The company says a consultation began on 22 November with drivers and their representative groups so that it can "avoid or minimise redundancies wherever possible".
A spokeswoman say no final decision will he made until the end of the consultation.
"Like many other companies, we are facing a very challenging and competitive marketplace. After conducting the review, the company considers that a strategic move to use more sub-contractors would enable the company to realise greater efficiencies and give the flexibility that the current market conditions require."
