GROTESQUE LETTERING (wit apologies to the exceller typeface of that name) is ba enough in computers without it use on vehicle number plates. results in A being mistaken f( R, G for 6, D for 0, S for Sand s on.
A retired barrister, H. IV Croome, has complained abot it to the Ministry of Transpor who is thought likely to requit by regulation that in future it dex marks shall be unmistal able. Meanwhile, the plat manufacturer concerned ha promised to make all charactei crystal clear.
