FOUNDER-MEMBERS and members of the National Council of the National Conference of Road Transport Clearing Houses recently made a presentation of a silver cigarette box to Mr. F. C. G. Mills, who has been re-elected chairman, to mark their appreciation of his services. It was made by Mr. Harris, vice-chairman, who spoke of the foresight and energy of Mr. Mills in working for the establishment of the Conference, and his achievement in securing its position as the representative of the sub-contracting interests.
