ne of the drawbacks of working abroad is when you find yourself craving some delicacy from home, such as a Mars bar or Heinz tomato soup. TNT has solved the problem for its Russian-based staff by sending food parcels through its pan-European road and air network to its offices in Moscow and St Petersburg.
The parcels contain a range of proper British food and drink, including hard-to-get items such as tea and coffee. TNT says this helps its staff avoid the endless queues for food.
