• Iveco Ford will use next month's Ambex '92 show to launch a TurboDaily 40.12 ambulance equipped with specially developed air suspension and an automatic gearbox. Destined for Kent Ambulance Service, it has Wadham Stringer fibreglass bodywork and air suspension with a raise/lower capability.
Other models on display will include a 4x4 40.10W TurboDaily with Taurus Bodies bodywork operated by West Glamorgan Ambulance Service for mountain rescue. It is designed to operate in difficult terrain as a single stretcher ambulance.
A mobile communications unit based on a TurboDaily 49.10 for Kent Ambulance Service and a four-wheel-drive mobile field hopsital for the Scottish Ambulance Service will also be on the Iveco Ford stand.
