• United Transport Tankers has won a £10 million five-year contract to distribute edible oil products for Cargill (UK) from Hull and Liverpool. UTT is dedicating 45 vehicles to the deal, which involves carrying 200,000 tonnes of oils a year, and is investing £1 million in new vehicles.
It will open a depot in Hull next year, mainly for the contract. Until then, it will use existing yards in Ellesmere Port and Rothwell.
