turning detective in a bid to trace vandals who caused 225,000-worth of damage to vehicles.
Bosses at Brandrick Trucks and Otis Vehicle Hire Rentals at Rowley Regis, near Dudley, West Midlands, have also offered £1,000 for information leading to the conviction of the culprits. The vandals broke into the four-acre site last week and drove a van into 12 lorries and vans, denting the vehicles and smashing wind screens. Now the firm has launched its own investigation into the incident, in addition to seeking police help.
Brandrick managing director Kevin Brandrick says: "We are not prepared to tolerate this type of behaviour. and we appeal for anyone with information to come Forward and help us.
"We are going to carry out our own inquiries in a bid to trace those responsible, by contacting local schools and carrying out house-to-house calls." he adds. "We believe the culprits live locally and we will not leave a stone unturned until we have found out just who these vandals are."
The vandals got into the premises by cutting a hole in the fencing. Anyone with information should contact the police on 0121626 9030.
