COMM ERCIA I. MOTOR'S Health Challenge kicks off at Wolverhampton Truckstop on Tuesday 28 March and breakfast will be on I veco.
TV chef James Martin will be cooking up a body-friendly delight which will be free to every truck driver who visits the truckstop that morning, courtesy of Iveco.
We'll also have personal trainers on hand to check blood pressure, body mass index and other health points. Motion sensors will assess your posture and see how it is being affected by hours in the cab.
CM Editor Andy Salter says: "The public perception that all truck drivers are overweight and unfit is a nonsense. But there are serious threats to men's health generally in the UK and the road transport industry has more than its fair share of difficult working conditions and stressful jobs.
"That's why Commercial Motor is joining forces with health charities as well as big names in the industry to promote a better understanding of men's health issues. Let's make 2006 the healthiest year ever for road transport.
