SO 95% OF respondents in your CM/Michelin survey believe more should be done to bring young drivers in to the industry (CM 9 March).
How refreshing, then, to see that Volvo dealer Thomas Hardie Commercials is launching a pinkthemed `Girls in Gear' campaign, to encourage women to train to become LG V drivers (CM 16 March).And what an amusing contrast to CM'S free shaver promotion, "for the man who likes a close shave behind the wheel". It even includes a free trimmer to tackle "those embarrassing hairs from your ears and nose".
Clearly, it takes women with balls to want to work in the road transport industry.
