• Parcels carrier Nightshift Express is looking for 10 extra UK franchisees in the next six months, as part of its expansion plans which are designed to double turnover within a year.
The Birmingham-based firm already has 30 franchisees, and since new management took over in March, six extra depots have been taken on.
Franchisees must be experienced in the parcels business, have a minimum of five modern vehicles and submit a joining fee. "The one-man van operation could not cope with the volume of business we put through," says new company secretary and director, Barry Copeland.
He predicts that the £6m turnover will double within a year, and says the firm has just signed a deal with Great Universal Stores.
The six-year-old firm, is also planning to expand into Europe. Contact Nightshift on (0268) 767670.
