• A woman who narrowly missed death when her car swerved in front of a truck wants to fmd the driver whose quick reactions saved her life.
The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, slewed in front of his truck when a box fell on her head from the back seat of her car causing her to lose control. The driver drove on to the embankment to miss her car, but his vehicle was
undamaged. The incident happened on the A49 between Sale and Ross-on-Wye at about 16:00hrs on 9 August. "He told me to go and have a cup of tea across the road before I started driving again," she says. "I carried on, but a little bit on I broke down in tears. I need to find him to say thanks."
If the driver concerned contacts Commercial Motor we will pass on his telephone number.
