The highest awards for 1964 were three gold emblems for 41 years—all to central area busmen. These were gained by Mr. A. M. Brett, of the BEA coach fleet; Mr. R. Of the 10 gold crosses awarded to date by ROSCo, nine have gone to London Transport staff. In the country area, which entered the competition later than the central buses, the best performance was put up by a Northileet driver, Mr. C. F.. Foreman, who qualified for a 37-year award, and one driver—Mt. W. W. Hallums, of Dartford—qualified for a 36-year emblem.
