nRGAN1ZATION of an engine k_/ factory is being carried out at Wellingborough by General Motors Tad., The British company of the American General Motors Corporation. The factory, which covers an area of 63,000 sq. ft., is expected to go into production this spring, and will be devoted to conversions of Bedford 220 and 330 diesel enaines for industrial and marine purposes. It will also act as the sales and service centre for G.M.C. Detroit diesel engines, which are offered for a variety of applications, including onand off-highway vehicles and plant, normal automotive, industrial and marine.
