NORTHERN NAME CHANGE • Northern Assemblies (Coachbuilders) has changed its name to Welford Truck Bodies (Northern). The move follows the purchase by BSG International (Welford's parent company) of Adams & Gibbon, which previously owned Northern Assemblies.
According to BSG, the new association will allow closer cooperation with Welford, which is based at Warley in the West Midlands.
WTB (Northern) has a factory at Leadgate, near Consett, County Durham and manufactures curtainsider and box bodywork, brewery vehicles and tippers.
