Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

contractor in North Wales who operates two Leyland Constructor 8x4 lorries which are fitted with Rolls Royce 265L engines and which have the "old type" of hub re duction gear rear axles.

The lorries have been plagued with failures in the transmission train, the rear axles, prop shafts, suspension and braking systems, and our clients are presently considering taking proceedings against Leyland Vehicles arising out of these failures.

In connection therewith, we would be interested to hear from any other operators of this particular type of lorry fitted with the Rolls Royce 265L engine, and who may have encountered similar problems, to contact ourselves, Messrs. Keith Levin and Company, 25 Derby Road, Huyton, Liverpool L36 9UG, phone 051-480 5777. Keith Levin
