THE PALLET NETWORK (TPN) substantially increased turnover and pre-tax profit in the latest financial year.
In the year to 31 March, turnover was up 20% to £38 1m (2007: 231.7m) and pre-tax profits rose even more, up 40% to £2.2m (2007: £.1 .5m).
TPN was founded in 2000 In an old aircraft hangar in Bawtry, Doncaster, but has since moved to Rugby. In November last year, MD Adam Leonard and finance director John Bowers completed a management buyout in conjunction with Lloyds Development Capital.
In 2008, the company employed an average of 65 staff, up from 56 in 2007.
