Driver feedback
Alan Firmin driver Ben Webster reckons the Dobli mirror on his Oaf XF95 Super Space Cab did a pretty good job, although mounting and positioning the extra nearside blind spot mirror takes some thought. "I had to move the tax disc and 0-licence disc holder up the screen to be able to see it properly," he starts. 01 do use it. It's good for the nearside, down at the front, but it doesn't quite show all the way along the side of the lorry, and it doesn't demist either,"
He adds: "You might do better with a wider mirror [mounted higher] looking downwards."
Talking to CM, Webster raised a point that many would echo — namely you've now got a lot of mirrors to watch.
"It's starting to be that you've got too much to look at, and you risk ending up not looking where you're actually going. I'd be interested in seeing what the TV would be like."
