EXPORTS of commercial vehicles in April were below the March record, but the total value exceeded the monthly target by £57,922. During the month 8,072 units (including road haulage tractors and trailers), valued at £3,557,922, were shipped.
The average monthly value of exports during the first four months of the year was £3,796,202. The total number of units shipped in that period was 35,193 and their value amounted to £15,184,809.
Used commercial vehicles exported in the first four months numbered 885 and their value was £376,759. In addition 30,968 agricultural tractors (€8,746,719) and parts and accessories of various kinds valued at £11,499,107 went overseas.
