ON THEIR BIKES
To celebrate its 10th anniversary the trailer rental and leasing company Transamerica Trailer Leasing went for a bit of a bike ride—a three-day bike ride. Twenty of its staff pedalled 290 miles from Bowburn, Durham (its first branch, opened in 1989) to its European Co-ordination Centre in Barking, Essex. About .£15,000 was raised for the charity Whizz-kidz, which provides equipment and mobility aids for disabled children in the UK.
