• Armed hijackers in a car with a flashing blue light flagged down and stole a lorry carrying .C50,000 worth of electrical goods near Reading last week
Police are warning drivers in the area to be vigilant. The masked robbers kidnapped the driver at gun point within minutes of him leaving the QTR Transport depot at 04:30hrs.
Driver David Abbott was forced from the cab, hooded and bound, but released unharmed 15 hours later more than 200 miles away in Leicestershire.
