• John Boatman, managing director of NFT Distribution, is to be the next chairman of the Institute of Logistics.
He replaces Peter O'Keefe and Brian McKibbin the former joint chairmen following last year's merger with the Institute of Logistics and Distribution Management and the Institute of Materials Management.
