carrying nuclear warheads received an embarrassing airing last week as the Defence Select Committee studied the vehicles' performance.
The all-parly committee heard that eight Fodens taken on since July 1992 by the Ministry of Defence have since cost the Ministry £60,000. The eight-wheeler 4000 Series-derivatives have suffered braking and fuel pump problems, with the most recent faults occurring in January this year.
