TWO DRIVER TRAINERS from the Industrial Training Centre (ICT) in Zambia have completed a two-week study tour of UK CV operators courtesy of Transaid. The charity has been working with the ICT for more than two years to improve standards of professional driver training to cut the high death toll on Zambian roads. Malikana Ailola Kamuwanga (left) and Peter Tembo spent time with UK driver trainers at Bibby Distribution, MAN, Ceva Logistics, Hoyer, Norbert Dentressangle, Clipper Logistics and Michelin, many of whom had been to the ICT to work with the six local instructors.
