BRITISH CAR Auctions (BCA) has signed up with leasing and fleet vehicle provider Arval to remarket its de-fleeted vehicles.
Nick Saunders, head of remarketing at Arval, says BCA has a large pool of buyers and that is critical for success when dealing with the volumes of stock Arval sell. “We look forward to BCA generating the buyer support that leads to strong residual values,” he says.
BCA will collect the vehicles and conduct end-of-term inspections. It will also provide back office services, with pre-sale work done by BCA Smart Prepared services, including decal work.
Mark Hankey, BCA sales director, says: “We are delighted to be working with Arval. We will use the BCA website to promote the stock and build brand awareness. We’re confident our comprehensive remarketing package will continue to outperform the market.” The auction house will use three sites, Blackbushe for vans and cars, Measham for vans, and Edinburgh for cars. ■
