• NFC parcels subsidiary Lynx is lowering prices on its European delivery service in a new deal with its partners in the Euro Express consortium.
According to Lynx, the agreement between partners to restrict margins to point of sale will lower the price of contract distribution services offered from its European operation at Dartford.
Managing director Philip Rose says he wants Euro Express to account for 15% of Lynx sales by 1997 and adds that the company will market the Euro service more aggressively by creating a dedicated sales team.
Four new partners—from France, Germany, Italy and Switzerland—have joined the 12-year-old consortium, which is is also negotiating with prospective partners in Denmark and Spain to extend coverage to 15 countries.
