• The British Army's School of Mechanical Transport has added 140 Leyland Daf rigid and artic vehicles to its driver training fleet under a five-year contract-hire agreement via Ryder.
The day-cabbed 4.3m FA50.150s are supplied with dual passenger seats, duplicate warning lights and an emergency footbrake for the instructor.
The package also includes drawbar and single-axle artic trailers with aluminium bodywork from Reeves of Birmingham and the trailers from M&G Tankers and Trailers of Stourbridge.
