was light and braking was well controlled by the Bosch ABS system. Instruments and controls were practically positioned except for the
exhaust brake button, located too far under the seat. Carpeting helped to muffle the throb of an engine which was so very quiet; the engine cover was low and the headroom was high, at \ 2.17m, allowing easy passage across the \ cab. Bunks were large and comfortable \ and equipped with reading lights. A hang\ ing wardrobe, lockers under the bunk and cabinets above the header rail gave plenty of space.
