TO GET RID of the anomalies in school transport would mean that some who now travel free would have to pay, said Mr Fred Mulley, the Education Secretary, in the Commons last week.
To deal with the anomalies he had sent proposals for new transport arrangements to the local authority associations and other interested organisations.
