• Rutland Electric Fencing has introduced Induced Pulse Window Bars which combine the benefits of a strong barrier with the latest energiser technology that is capable of delivering a sharp—but safe-8,500-volt shock.
The bars are designed to be fitted inside the glass of vulnerable ground-floor windows; they are pulsed every 1.2 seconds and an alarm is triggered by any voltage drop resulting from attempts to short them out.
Available in a flat pack and said to be easy to install, the product conforms to required energiser standards and has been reviewed by the Health and Safety Executive. Warning signs are supplied, together with neon lights to indicated when the system is in operation.
