Without a moment's hesitation if, a father of four from Newcastle, Co Dublin, was knee deep in the water, lifting the man who had been lying fare down, out on to the bank. He was assisted by the driver and his colleague who rang for an ambulance.
In case you're wondering, JJ did not damp the fellow, but he stressed not because of the incident, but because the driver had turned up before the clamp was put on. A true professional
