A SURVEY BY THE Forum for Private Business has shown that while 80% of companies place environmental issues high on their agenda, in reality, these concerns were superseded by training in health and safety (46%) and skills (51%).
• The three targets in any green agenda — reducing fuel, reducing energy costs and cuffing waste — can have a huge impact on bottom lines.
The FBP says an average firm can save 5%-10% of its costs via a structured approach to green practices.
