• A small fridge designed for truck cabs will be launched at the Peterborough Truckfest on 5-6 May.
The Pelstar Microfridge is claimed to work as well as a conventional (ridge. It has a 12-litre capacity including room for a litre bottle and even sports an ice-making facility. The fridge can be seen in action at stand number B6, and will cost about £285 (ex-VAT).

Helping pickers
• Warehouse shelving manufacturer Dexion has launched PickMate, a computerised picking system that does away with printed lists. Once the system receives the order, a shelving lighting system shows the picker how many of each item must be included. Additions to the system can be accommodated by plugging in further lights to the shelving system.
