The Japanese Dense Corporation Is shortly to begin production of components for a new common-rail injection system designed to comply with Euro-4. The future system will run at 1.800 bar injection pressure, around 20% higher than current large common-rail applications. Production will start at plants in Hungary and Thailand from this June, supplying the European, Asian and Japanese markets. Demo expects to be making in excess of 500,000 systems a year by 2005.
