HULL-BASED Eurovision Logistics has taken delivery of eight new Euroliners from Schmitz Cargobull as part of its fleet refreshment.
The trailers feature anti-vandal reinforced curtains for additional security, as well as the customary four loading points synonymous with Euroliners.
The firm, which specialises in domestic and European freight, operates a fleet of 50 trailers, mostly from Schmitz Cargobull, on top of 70 tractor units and 10 rigids.
MD Dominic Yeardley says: “We are gradually changing the fleet over. We have Schmitz everything, from skellies to Euroliners. This is a case of replacing some of the old ones.” The firm, trading under the new name since June 2010 following the merger of sister businesses IJ Blakey Haulage and European Road Freight, expects the trailers to remain on the fleet for six years.
