INJOVEMBER'S exports of commerI cial vehicles set up a record in number and value, says the Society of Mdter. Manufacturers and Traders. Output remained stable. Weekly. average production of 5,481 units in November compares with 5,477 in °ember. • The ' number of vehicles built in November, was 21,923 (14,321 for export and 7;602 for`home users). The 21,016 goods vehicles, road haulage tractors and special types comprised 9,893 under, 15 cwt. payload capacity, 9,834 between 15 cwt. and 6 tons, and 1,289 over 6 tons. Motorbuses and trolleybuses numbered 826, made up of 607 single-deck, and 209 double-deck motorbuses and 10 trolleybuses. Eighty-one battery-electrics were also built.
During the 11 months to November, 237,559 vehicles were manufactured, of which 148,713 wire for export and 88,846 for home consumption. They were classified as follows:--Goods vehicles, road haulage tractors and special types, under 15 cwt., 109,367; 15 ewt..-6 tons, 106,040; over. 6 tons. 10,952; total, 226,359. Public service vehicles and trolleybuses: Single-deck motorbuses, 7,521; double-deck motorbuses, 2,433; trolleybuses, 115; total. 10,069. Battery-electrics, 1,131.
Production of pedestrian-controlled electric vehicleS during the first H monthsof 1951 totalled 450. Figures for works trucks relate to the first 10 months of the year and show that 5,789 were built. •

Excluding dumpers and industrial trucks, 14,933 commercial vehicles were eiported•in November, compared with 11,620 in October. Including dumpzrs and industrial trucks, the value of expOrts advancedfrom 16,437,776 to £7,990,644.
During the first 11 months of ihe year, 131,385 units (excluding dumpers and industrial trucks) were shipped. The value of exports, including dumpers and industrial trucks, was £67,862,100. In addition, 3,389 used commercial vehicles (£1,529,792), 107,182 agricultural tractors (£40,701,800) and parts and accessories to the value of £71,307,502 were sent overseas,
