• Beeline Fleet Services has been wound up and the receiver is auctioning its assets after unsuccessful attempts to sell it as a going concern.
The former subsidiary of failed Rockwood Holdings was set up by a management buy-out team in February (CM 28 Feb-6 March) when Rockwood collapsed. It specialised in contract hire and rental.
Receiver Ernst & Young was called in last month and tried to find a buyer for the business, which was originally based in Hinckley, Leics employing 40 people.
