A THROUGH BOOKING deal has been agreed between Schiaffino Freight Ferries and Welsh/Irish Ferries for hauliers running between Europe and Ireland.
An agreement signed last week at Associated British Ports' Barry port in South Wales means that discounts of up to 20 per cent will be available to operators using Schiaffino's twice-daily Dover-Ostend crossing and WIF's Barry-Cork three times weekly route.
The WIF service started earlier this year, supported by a cash injection from the Welsh Development Agency.
