• Omni Coach has developed a derivative of its award winning midibus in a bid to make it more attractive to stage carriage operators. The prototype will be exhibited at this week's Accessible Transport '92 show at Twickenham, to widen the useage of the Omni which until now has been used mainly for welfare work.
Three more of the sixwheeler Omnis which were launched this month have been taken by Leicestershire County Council. The 7.5m units join the first which was bought for the council's social services department (CM 4-10 June).
