NOTTINGHAM MAGISTRATES Court has heard how a driver suffered fatal head injuries after being trapped between his vehicle and a metal post.
The case was brought by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) on 17 March, and reported in the Nottingham Evening Post.
The court was told how Gary Brooks, 42, from the city, who worked for DHL, received the injuries at a site used by Imperial Tobacco in Len ton. Notts in September 2007. His vehicle rolled because the handbrake wasn't on.
DILL and Imperial Tobacco each pleaded guilty to breaching sections 2(1) and 3(1) of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
The matter is due before Nottingham Crown Court for sentencing at a date yet to be set.
