OF the numerous agricultural, dairy and fat cattle shows heldsin this country there are only a few to which attention is paid by the commercial-motor industry. The show at Dublin has been held, and last week the Belfast Show (May 26th-28th) and the Bath and West Show at Watford (May 25th-29th) were held. The 63rd annual Summer Exhibition of the Glasgow Agricultural Society is being held to-day (Tuesday) in the Scotstoun Show Ground, whilst to-morrow (Wednesday) the Royal Counties Show opens at Bournemouth, remaining 'open until Saturday next. Following this comes another important exhibition, the Three Counties Society's Annual Show, which this year will be held at Gloucester, opening on Tuesday next, June 8th, and closing on the Thursday evening. In the following week, viz., from June 16th to 17th inclusive, the Royal

Norfolk Show will be held at Great Yarmouth, whilst at the end of the month, viz., on June 29th, the Highland and Agricultural Society's Show will open at Kelso, closing on July 2nd. This date is a little earlier than usual. Then, on Tuesday, July 6th, the Royal Show promoted by the Royal Agricultural Society of England will open at Reading, closing on Saturday, July 10th. The Yorkshire Agricultural Show will be held at Harrogate from July 21st to 23rd.

Those will constitute the whole of the important shows of the year, and after that interest will wane until the London Dairy Show opens at the Royal Agricultural HaP, London, on October 19th, for four clays. The Birmingham Fat Cattle Show will be held from November 27th to December 2nd, and the Smithfield Cattle Show from Decembv..b6th to December 10th.
