Flat and right-angle nutsetters and spring balancers have been added to BroomWade's range of pneumatic assembly tools.
The nutsetters are powered by a rotary vane air motor, are lightweight, and, says the company, easy to handle.
Flat-angle nutsetters are available in two sizes, 2 series or 5 series, each with two speeds to suit bolt capacities up to .in. UNC (M9) mild steel.
Right-angle nutsetters are available in four models — two reversible and two nonreversible — powered by a 5 series air motor. A range of four speeds suits bolt capacities up to in. UNC (M12) mild steel.
A redesigned range of spring balancers, for suspending tools over work-benches and assembly lines, is now available with four loadings, 2, 4, 10, and 151b. In addition to high-tensile nylon cables, the two heavier models have a built-in lock to automatically stop the fall of a suspended tool in the event of a spring failure.
Other features include a three-position lifting bail for vertical suspension: aluminium alloy casing for strength and lightness; easily adjustable main spring for tensioning and static tool position.
Complementary to the range of balancers, BroomWade has also introduced a bench and a wall-mounted stand for tools up to 2 ;lb (1.25kg) in weight.
