DESPITE 1985 being a particularly hard year for coach suppliers Jonckheere importer Roeselare of Northampton reports that it will again sell 100 coaches and maintain its share of the British market.
And this year the company will register more Scaniabased Jonckheere Jubilee coaches than vehicles on other running units.
With 34 Scanias already sold this season, Roeselare will have supplied almost 100 Scania K112 coaches since the model was introduced just over two years ago.
The Northampton based company is also continuing to supply a large number of bodies on Volvo B1OM and Dar chassis. Managing director Alan Wilson reports increasing interest in Daf models, especially the rear-engined SB range. Despite a great deal of interest from operators, orders for Jonckheere-bodied Bedford Venturers have been disappointingly slow.
